We believe there is more to being a horseperson than just riding a horse.

Our mission is to teach horsemanship from the ground up, teaching our riders how to care for their horse such as haltering, brushing, tacking up, riding, and more!

Veronica caught the horse-love-bug somewhere around the age of six…

…riding ponies & anything that would let her mount up at her aunt’s ranch in Australia. Early summer days going down the trail in the outback soon turned to fall days saddling up a lesson horse in stateside Newbury Park, California.

At eight she began to take western riding lessons,

honing in on the basics that are still important to this day.

Though soon she would have her heart stolen by a horse for the first time. At the age of nine, her heart was pick-pocketed by a big bay Warmblood/Quarter Horse cross named Lucky, affectionally called “Lucky Strike.”
